ADMISSION GUIDELINES

BISESJ receives application for at any grade from Pre-reception to A level and form at any time throughout the school year. The candidate will then be given an appointment for an entrance exam which will be scheduled by the Admissions team. The subjects for the entrance exam will vary from grade to grade. The entrance exam for Pre-reception includes English Language, Mathematics, and Arabic, however for the higher grads specific subjects will be included. The exam may be given either to individual candidates or to groups of candidates. The candidate will be accepted for admission into the school if s/he passes the entrance exam. If the candidate does not pass the exam, s/he may be allowed to take a re-exam at the discretion of the Admissions team. The student selection will be within the appropriate age range for the grade according to the international requirements given next. The student will be accepted into the school if:

  • S/he passes the entrance exam.
  • The student is within the appropriate age range for the level to which s/he is applying.
  • There is seat available in the level to which s/he is applying.

Legal documents for admission:

The parents of the selected students for the admission have to submit the following documents:

1. Passport copy of applicant and parents.

2. Iqama copy of applicant and parents.

3. 2 (two) passport size recent photographs of the applicant.

4. Transfer Certificate from school within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

5. Previous school report cards.

6. Permission from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Education (if Non-Bangladeshi).

Admissions are granted to students on the basis of the following assessments:

I. Pre-reception to Reception: Interaction of the student with the Principal

II. Year 1 onwards: Written test followed by an interaction with the Principal

Withdrawal procedures:

Parents need to notify the BISESJ admission office as far in advance as possible about the expected withdrawal date. This allows admission office time to prepare student records for transfer. At least two weeks prior notification is necessary before any vacation and end of the year. Student will complete a check-out list prior to departure that needs to be signed by the admission secretary.
